Gearing Up for Future EVRAA Meets!
On March 20, 2025, a productive planning meeting was held at the City Mayor’s Office to strategize for upcoming Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association (EVRAA) Meets!
Presided over by Mayor Dexter M. Uy and co-facilitated by City Population and Youth Development Officer Atty. Roldan John P. Larios, the session focused on Catbalogan City’s preparations to enhance its performance and hosting capabilities. Atty. Larios presented proposed plans and strategies to City Administrator Atty. Dennis G. Cosmod, City Engineer Lucy D. Francisco, and Catbalogan City Division Sports Coordinator Mr. Jose Roberto T. Lamadrid.
Key discussions included:
✅ Comprehensive planning of preparatory activities to strengthen the city’s standing
✅ Assessment and enhancement of sports facilities
✅ Defining the roles and responsibilities of the City LGU and DepEd City Division
